Consort Displays

History of Consort Displays

When Bob Kenyon formed the business in 1966, he asked his solicitor to register Concept Displays. Due to the poor quality of the old GPO telephone line, the lawyer misheard him – and Consort was born!

Bob ran the company for the best part of forty years before handing over the reins to Helen (his daughter) and the current MD, Andy Smith. Andy and Helen worked together for nearly 20 years before Helen opted for a more tranquil existence in France! Andy remains at the helm of the good ship Consort.

20 years ago we were purely vacuum formed and fabricated displays whereas nowadays our areas of expertise have expanded so that joinery, shopfittings and exhibitions are all well within our capabilities.

We have passion for what we do and we take pride in doing it well.

We enjoy working with our customers, harnessing our experience to produce ideal solutions to their needs.

We are an organisation dedicated to bespoke solutions, nothing we do is off the peg. Everything we do emanates from an individual customer’s brief. From this we create innovative, original solutions, turning concepts into reality.

We cultivate long-term relationships with our customers which promotes a greater understanding of their requirements.

Welcome to Consort Displays.
